COMMITTED TO COMMUNITY

Marc actively engages with the design community and currently has a role on the Advisory Board for AIGA San Diego Tijuana. He served as the chapter President from 2019 to 2021. Between 2013 and 2018, he held consecutive positions as Communications Director, Y Design Conference Director, and Development Director.

Additionally, he is a Design Ambassador for the World Design Capital® San Diego Tijuana 2024 initiative, originally led by the Design Forward Alliance and UC San Diego Design Lab. World Design Capital® (WDC) is designated every two years by the World Design Organization® spotlighting qualified cities for their effective use of design to enhance economic, social, cultural and environmental quality of life. Marc also shares his business knowledge and creative experience by participating in class critiques, mentoring designers, and he has served on the advisory board for the Digital Arts Center at UC San Diego Extensions.

Marc, a Navy veteran, had select artworks displayed during Fleet Week San Diego 2019, at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. The poster he created for the 2022 AIGA San Diego Tijuana Poster Project, titled Palisades ‘35 Coupe, received an honorable mention and was included in the San Diego Automotive Museum poster exhibit.
